Teams, Roles, and Permissions
What Are Teams, Roles, and Permissions
An enterprise administrator can invite members from “Settings > User Management” and assign permissions through role management. The User Management page contains “Users,” “Role Management,” and “Pending Invitations.”
Why Role and Permission Management Is Required
Managing permissions through roles lets you control each user’s access to accounts, Budgets, cards, transactions, and system settings based on job responsibilities, reducing the risk of errors. The actual available permissions are those shown on the role configuration page.
How to Manage Teams and Permissions
Go to “Settings > User Management” to view the total users, active users, disabled users, and pending invitations. Use the three tabs to manage users, roles, and invitations separately.
Invite Members
Click “Invite User,” enter member email addresses separated by commas or line breaks, select the role to assign, and click “Send Invitation.” Invitation links are valid for 72 hours. Expired invitations can be resent, and pending invitations can be withdrawn.
Manage Roles
The “Role Management” tab shows role names, descriptions, associated user counts, and update times. Click “Add Role” to create a custom role and set its name, description, and permissions. Built-in roles may not be editable; follow the options shown on the page.
Manage Pending Invitations
The “Pending Invitations” tab shows the invited email, assigned role, inviter, invitation time, and current status. Invitations that have not been accepted can be resent or withdrawn as needed.
