Why does ORBSIS use a dual-tier account structure?
What is the dual-tier account structure?
ORBSIS uses a dual-tier account structure consisting of a Primary Account and Sub Accounts. A business can create and manage multiple Sub Accounts under one Primary Account. Multiple Primary Accounts running in parallel are also supported, forming a flexible multi-primary/sub account network structure that meets businesses' needs for granular management across different operational scenarios.
Why do businesses need a dual-tier account structure?
- Funds from multiple business lines, departments, or projects are mixed together, making tracking and reconciliation difficult
- Cross-border business involves multiple currencies, and the foreign exchange and settlement processes are cumbersome
- It is difficult to effectively isolate permissions for different team members, creating fund security risks
- Multiple subsidiaries or brands require independent accounting but also need centralized oversight
Core capabilities of the ORBSIS dual-tier account structure
Primary Account: Centralized Control Hub
The Primary Account serves as the core hub of a business's fund management, responsible for the overall allocation and monitoring of funds. Financial managers or administrators can monitor the fund status of all Sub Accounts in real time through the backend, enabling centralized, one-stop management.
Sub Accounts: Flexible Business Execution Units
Sub Accounts can be independently divided by business line, department, project, region, or brand. Each Sub Account has its own independent fund balance and transaction records, enabling precise accounting and independent reconciliation without interference by actions within other Sub Accounts.
Flexible Multi-Primary/Sub Account Combinations
Businesses can freely build multi-level primary/sub account combinations based on their actual organizational structure — truly aligning the account structure with the company's organizational structure.
Multi-Currency Support (Coming Soon)
Both Primary and Sub Accounts support multi-currency configuration. Businesses can hold and manage major currencies such as USD, EUR, GBP, and HKD across different accounts based on actual business needs.
Multiple Primary Accounts in Parallel (Coming Soon)
For group enterprises with multiple independent legal entities, brands, or regional companies, ORBSIS will support the simultaneous operation of multiple Primary Accounts on the same platform. Stay tuned!
