Two-Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an additional identity verification step beyond your account password to help protect your account and security-sensitive actions.

ORBSIS may require 2FA when you sign in or perform certain sensitive operations.

First-Time 2FA Setup

If 2FA has not yet been linked to your account, follow the instructions shown in the interface to complete setup first.

After setup is complete, ORBSIS can use that verification method to confirm your identity when 2FA is required.

note

If the interface indicates that 2FA has not been linked yet and asks you to complete setup first, your account does not currently have a 2FA verification method configured.

Complete the setup before continuing with the current action.

Complete Two-Factor Authentication

When ORBSIS asks you to complete 2FA:

  1. Follow the instructions shown in the interface to obtain or view the required verification information.
  2. Enter the requested verification information.
  3. Submit the verification.
  4. After successful verification, continue with the current action.

The exact verification method depends on the ORBSIS portal and configuration available to your account.

If You Cannot Complete Verification

If 2FA fails, check that the verification information is correct and that you are using the verification method linked to your account.

If you changed devices, can no longer access your existing verification method, or continue to experience verification problems, contact your platform administrator or ORBSIS support.

warning

Do not share your password, 2FA verification information, or other account security credentials with anyone.
