What Is Card Management

Card Management covers finding VCCs (virtual credit cards), viewing card limits and statuses, and managing settings such as Card BINs (Bank Identification Numbers).

Why Card Issues Require Priority Investigation

A card is the customer’s final payment instrument. An abnormal card status or limit can directly cause a payment failure. When discussing card issues externally, avoid sharing the full card number or other sensitive information; normally use the last four digits for verification.

How to Find and Manage Cards

Find VCC Cards and View Details

The VCC list locates cards by customer, account, Budget, Card Provider, card type, and status. When handling card issues externally, avoid sharing the full card number; the Card ID, last four digits, and transaction reference are normally sufficient.


Card Type	Limit Method	Available to Spend
Shared Limit Card	Has no independent Card Limit and shares the Budget Available Limit with other Shared Limit Cards under the same Budget	Depends on the Available Limit of the associated Budget
Dedicated Limit Card	An independent Card Limit is set when the Card is created, reserving Budget capacity	Card Limit minus spending already incurred / amount already used

Filter by Card ID, the last four digits of the card number, Entity, Budget, or Card Provider.

First verify the card status, type, Card Limit, Total Spent, and Available to Spend.

Open the details to view the associated customer, account, Budget, history, and transactions.

When enabling or disabling a card, confirm the reason and impact, perform the operation, and then verify the card status.

Manage Card BINs

A Card BIN determines the card scheme, Card Provider, currency, and product capabilities that can be offered. Before adding or adjusting a BIN, confirm that the upstream capability is enabled and has been tested.

Search by BIN, card scheme, Card Provider, or currency.

View the BIN details and the number of products or cards using it.

When adding a BIN, enter the card scheme, Card Provider, currency, card type, and required limits.

After saving, validate the BIN with a test product before making it available to customers.
