Trace Budget Allocation & Release

Budget limits are allocated from the Available Balance of the linked sub account.

Budget Allocation​

When budget limit is allocated:

  • Sub Account Available Balance decreases
  • Sub Account Allocated Budget Limit increases
  • Budget Limit increases

Budget Release​

When budget limit is released, disabled, or reduced:

  • Sub Account Allocated Budget Limit decreases
  • Sub Account Available Balance increases

Budget allocation and release are account-level fund movements and should not be confused with card spending or authorizations.
